Huddersfield Textile Centre of Excellence
The Textile Centre of Excellence is a not for profit company owned by its members, primarily textile manufacturing companies in West Yorkshire. The Centre delivers a wide range of training and development support. Training provided includes apprenticeships and NVQs, Leadership and Management training, Health & Safety, IT and fork lift truck training. The Centre has provided support to over 1,500 companies over the last year.

The British Textile Machinery Association is a non-profit making organisation and was originally formed under the auspices of The Board of Trade on 30th April 1940. With five decades’ of experience in the global textile industry; interfacing the quality production expertise of British textile machinery manufacturers with the requirements of global textile industries, the BTMA can access you to a wealth of knowledge and technical innovation from its Member Companies and provide assistance in export liaison.

The British Wool Marketing Board
A farmer run organisation, the BWMB was established in 1950 to operate a central marketing system for UK fleece wool, with the aim of achieving the best possible net return for producers.
It is the only organisation in the world that collects, grades, sells and promotes fleece wool and the only remaining agricultural commodity board in the UK.
